'Real Housewives of New York' at Afterbuzz TV

The new season of 'Real Housewives of New York' started just a couple weeks ago.  That meant our Afterbuzz TV Aftershow was back in swing!  Ashley and I have been Hosting the Aftershow since season six, we're in season nine right now, Megan is back on panel with us, and we've got a new Host, Thomas Orlina joining us now!

I actually really enjoy our panel; we all get along really well and we have varying opinions which is the point.  It gives the viewers someone they can agree with since we all have different ideas.  It's also nice to get a male's perspective!  We've got most of the Housewives from last season with Tinsley Mortimer, being the new addition.  It looks like the show will be as juicy as ever, even though sometimes I like it when there's no drama.
On our second episode we actually got John Hill, a man of many talents but also a writer for 'Watch What Happens Live.'  He's also got a show on Sirius on Andy Cohen's channel.  He was a great guest and gave us the scoop.  In fact, all of our shows have been really fun.  You can see our second episode with John Hill above!  Obviously the first week was an introduction to the season and last week we got into some really interesting talk about how to handle politics, people peeping on your Snapchat and Instagram, and the fact that I'm heading to New York tomorrow morning!
Thomas, Ashley and I Hosting our 'Real Housewives of New York' Aftershow!  We missed you, Megan!
Buckle up for an exciting season and be sure to join us every Wednesday at 7:15 pm LIVE on YouTube for our 'Real Housewives of New York' Aftershow at Afterbuzz TV!  We've got lots of fun planned for this season :)

Adam Fergus & Kathryn Newton at Afterbuzz TV for 'Supernatural'

I had the pleasure of Hosting our 'Supernatural' Aftershow a couple weeks ago with some amazing guests!  Adam Fergus has been playing Mick, joined me in the studio and Kathryn Newton, who plays Claire, and has been in to Afterbuzz before, also was on the Aftershow!

Slowly but surely, Mick, has been growing on the 'Supernatural' family.  Even though he came into this season working with Mr. Ketch, who's a part of the British Men of Letter's and appear to be enemies of our beloved Sam and Dean, the fans have been starting to wonder if he's really helping the boys.  I loved how in the episode, 'Ladies Drink Free' that we got to see a softer side of both Mick and Claire.  Clearly, Mick is struggling with helping the boys and sticking with the Men of Letter's.  We also got to see some great acting from Kathryn as she was turned into a Werewolf, and we're not sure if she's truly been healed or not, but so far, so good.
I really loved this episode but as the following week came around, we lost someone.  I won't say who, so I don't spoil it, in case you haven't seen in, but I was in mourning the following week!  You can see our episode linked above!
I loved having Kathryn Newton & Adam Fergus join me at Afterbuzz to talk all about 'Supernatural!'
It's always a pleasure to see Kathryn who has been working on 'Big Little Lies' and also has a couple other projects coming up.  I had done my research on Adam and found out he'd been in a production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' and has really enjoyed being a part of 'Supernatural' and joining the family.  Of course it wasn't all shop talk, I got some acting advice, we saw some emotion, and heard all about the on-set fun they have as well!  Thanks to Kathryn and Adam for joining me at Afterbuzz and I look forward to having you two in again :)

'Locals Only' Table Read for Popcorn Talk!

Last Friday I went in to Popcorn Talk, a sister network of Afterbuzz TV for a Table Read of the un-produced script, 'Locals Only' by Daniel Hogan.  It's along the lines of 'The O.C.' and 'Friday Night Lights,' and deliciously juicy.  It hits some really honest moments growing up in high school and going through a death, dealing with hormones, popularity, race and more.  It was such an interesting story and episode and I was thrilled to be a part of it!

Everyone was given parts a couple days prior so I was reading as a teenage girl who was abusing prescription pills, a douchey bro-esque surfer, a hard-nosed detective and your typical popular rich girl.  I even had to free-style rap while I was reading as the surfer dude. A first for me and you can find that part around the 42 minute mark if you really want to see it.  We also did a little Q&A after and I found Friday's session really helpful for me in working on my own script as well.  I was already planning a table read but now I know I need someone to read as my character since I can't take notes when I'm reading my own lines!
You can see the episode presented by Popcorn Talk on YouTube right here!  Special thanks to Jeff for bringing me in, Daniel for writing an intriguing script, and the rest of the awesome cast for bringing the story to life.  I just want to know what happens next and I bet you will too if you check out the read :)

'Supernatural's' Ruth Connell & Kathryn Newton at Afterbuzz TV

We started off Season 12 of 'Supernatural' with a bang!  After ending last year with God & Amara (his sister) going off on a 'Sabbatical' together and Mary coming back from wherever she was, I think we all were excited to see what the writers were going to come up with this year.  Every episode has been a home run in my eyes, bigger, bolder, more emotion, and a whole new story with the Men of Letters London Chapter coming into play!  Katie and I are back Hosting our 'Supernatural' Aftershow at Afterbuzz TV and hoping that Alexis can jump in whenever she's not too slammed with work!

In fact, during our second episode we were able to get Ruth Connell and Kathryn Newton in to discuss Rowena's return, typical 'Supernatural' talk, and also chat about Ruth's Coven Couture clothing line for Charity.  Katie and I even got to wear tops from the line, super comfortable, and for a great cause!  Thankfully, we got to see Rowena, but only for an episode, before she jetted off for some alone time.  Meanwhile, Crowley and Castiel are working together and Mary has gone off for some solo thinking time as well.
Behind the scenes at Afterbuzz TV with Ruth & Kathryn
Ruth has been traveling all over for the Conventions and Kathryn has been busy working too and hoping for a 'Supernatural' return.  You can check out our episode here :)
As we make our way into the season, I'm really happy with how it's going so far even though we've heard nothing from God or Amara.  We're seeing a more sensitive side of Dean, Nina-Lopez Corrado directed last week's episode (so great to see her name up there again) and Lucifer has been banished to the depths of the ocean...for now.  This week we got the return of Billie and Detective Jody Mills, saw a different side of Jody, and Billie isn't giving up the fight for souls.  If you want to watch us LIVE check out our Aftershow on Thursdays at 11 pm on YouTube by searching Afterbuzz TV and upcoming LIVE streams.  Feel free to join in on the chat as well and let us know what you think!  You can catch all of our past Aftershows on YouTube, iTunes or Soundcloud!

'Hard Knocks' at Afterbuzz TV

I can't believe how quickly Football Training Camp came and went.  'Hard Knocks' focuses on those five weeks and specifically one team; this year it was the newly re-located back to LA Rams.  After 21 years in St. Louis, they came back to Cali!  This year I was Lead Hosting and Producing our segment with my new co-host, Joe Doyle.  We also had Throwback Joe join us for the first and last episodes to bring a little extra to our show!

Throwback Joe, Joe Joe Doyle and I Hosting 'Hard Knocks'
I am a die-hard Packer fan and will be for life; I've been on that season ticket waiting list since I was nine years old, thanks to my Mom.  They used to say by the time we were in our 50's, we would finally get tickets.  Now we'll be lucky if we get them in our lifetime, thanks to Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers, along with the other greats, leading us to victory and winning the Superbowl many times over the last 20 years!

One thing I've noticed watching 'Hard Knocks' over the last few years is that you get invested in the team they are profiling.  I was excited about the Falcons and even said Devonta Freeman would be a late draft pick-up for Fantasy and would yield high results and I was right!  Last year's Houston Texans got me excited about their team and made me a huge fan of J.J. Watt, who I should already have been a fan of because he's from Wisconsin and played at UW-Madison.  This year it was exciting to have an LA Football team and someone else to root for, and learning about the players, I really enjoyed watching Aaron Donald, William Hayes, Tavon Austin, and Austin Hill.

Over the five weeks, you get an inside look at practices, team camaraderie, the pre-season games, home life, and most importantly, cuts to the teams roster which ends with 53 players making the team.  I got Throwback Joe's contact info from my friend, Shawn, who's been a Rams fan for as long as he can remember.  Throwback Joe creates new Rams gear with that Throwback-style, and has some big time players on board, like Vince Ferragamo and Eric Dickerson.  He gets the new players to sign the gear and then sends it out the people who have placed their orders.  He's been a fan of the Rams and followed them wherever they've been so it was great having a true fan in to chat with us about the Rams.  Plus, he was gracious enough to give us some gear to do a Giveaway with and send to some lucky fans!
Episode 1 of our 'Hard Knocks' Aftershow

Joe and I had a really great season Hosting our 'Hard Knocks' Aftershow at Afterbuzz TV and I will continue to keep track of the Rams this season and hopefully get to attend a game as well!  Ram Nation...let's go :)
Always a believer in Mermaids!  Our final 'Hard Knocks' show at Afterbuzz TV this season :)
*You can find Throwback Joe's in the App Store which you need to check out if you want to get any LA Rams gear!

The Tomorrow Show!

In July I did an episode of 'The Tomorrow Show' Hosted by Keven Undergaro!  This episode focused all about on-line dating, so they were calling it 'Tinder Tales' even though I'm more of a Bumble fan; I go through phases of not using it at all.  Dating in LA is crazy enough just meeting someone in person, let alone by using an app.  They had dating expert, Julie Spira, along with their normal panel, including Roxy & Lauren from Afterbuzz and there was plenty to talk about!

I join the show just before the 70 minute mark and although I don't have any real horror stories when it comes to on-line dating, I have some pretty crazy dating in LA stories!  In this clip I talk about a guy I dated nicknamed 'Motorcycle Douchbag' and trust me, he deserved it!  You'll totally understand after listening to that craziness.
Dan, Yael, and I with Julie before our appearance on 'The Tomorrow Show!'
Yael and Dan, also from Afterbuzz TV joined the show and shared some horror stories as well, so we had lots to talk about.  I've had some pretty wild dating stories in the past few years but hopefully they're leading me into the path of Mr. Right!  Until then, we're all having some fun :)

'These Stupid Games' Music Video

Stephanie and I worked on this music video for 'These Stupid Games' together for a few weeks and it's finally finished!  She released it on my Birthday back in June and I'm finally posting about it on my blog!
Watch it here :)

Stephanie had talked to the artist, Elizaveta, about doing a music video for her song, 'These Stupid Games.'  When Stephanie asked me if I would be in and sent me the song, it was an easy yes.  The song is beautiful, very emotional, and something I felt connected to.  We shot at locations all over LA, including a couple places in Santa Monica, the Last Bookstore in Downtown, the Self-Realization Fellowship at Lake Shrine, Malibu, Union Station, and up on the Mulholland Lookout, and even a late night pool session in March!
The Book Arch at the Last Bookstore in Downtown LA
Self-Realization Fellowship at Lake Shrine near Malibu...it was so beautiful!
It's a great song and the video turned out really well for her first time using video instead of all photos, plus we had a lot of fun shooting it!  I love working on new things and getting to do a little acting and it was awesome to check out some new places I had never been to :)

Magic: The Gathering on YouTube

Thanks to our Director, Shaun, our 'Magic: The Story' Podcast got posted on YouTube under one of his friend's channels, and he added images so that it's relevant to the format.  It definitely draws you in!

 Watch it here!

Halana is in other stories so I'm hoping my character will be brought back into the Podcast and I can do some more Voiceover work.  It was such a blast working with everyone, especially for this strong and independent character!
Enjoy :)

The 'Supernatural' Season Finale with Lisa Berry & Alaina Huffman

This season of 'Supernatural' has been incredible and really hooked me as a viewer.  I've been Hosting the 'Supernatural' Aftershow at Afterbuzz for the last three seasons with some awesome co-hosts but this season really takes the cake with excitement, twists and turns, and major plot points.  Not to mention all the wonderful guests that came in to discuss the show this season.  What made this finale even better was that Katie and I joined some of the cast and crew of 'Supernatural' to watch the show and live-tweet with all of them!
Katie and I with Lisa Berry & Alaina Huffman at Afterbuzz TV for the 'Supernatural' Season 11 Finale!
Live-tweeting is really difficult although I'm sure it's a little easier when you're working on the show and actually know what's coming next.  Seeing Lisa, Alaina, Emily (who plays The Darkness), Kathryn, Phil Sgriccia (whom directed the episode), Jim Michaels (produces the show), with Ruth skyping with all of us, was awesome.  I don't know how they keep up with all of it, including retweeting, commenting, and responding.  They'd go from 10 retweets to 357 in a matter of a minute; it's actually kind of mind-blowing!  It was a blast to do and so glad that we were able to be involved!  Thanks to Lisa for inviting us!

On Thursday we had our Finale episode of our Aftershow with Lisa and Alaina joining us in the studio.  We had a great show discussing the episode and what's to come for the series since they're already locked into Season 12.  With the way the show keeps going, I don't think it's ending any time soon!  We had so many predictions and thoughts, there was just so much to talk about.  Although, I felt a little underwhelmed with the ending; this entire time I thought someone was going to die and leave all of us hanging, but that didn't happen.  Granted, The Darkness and God are off together, working on their relationship but we don't know how they'll feel when we come back next season.  I still want to know what happened to Lucifer and how Rowena will come back in to play (plus I want to see a backstory on The Grand Coven) so I guess that keeps things exciting and not underwhelming!  Lisa and Alaina always bring such great insight and thought as to what's going on and with the Women of Letters storyline, I feel like Alaina could come back at any time!  Lisa is certainly waiting to reap Sam & Dean and will when the occasion arises.  These women are fans of the show and to hear their excitement is really entertaining!
To check out the episode click on the video above.  I love hearing from everyone while we're waiting for the new season so find me on Instagram at Lyndsey on Insta or tweet me on Twitter at Lyndsey Tweets.  Use the hashtag: abtvsupernatural and we can discuss anything about the show!  I hope you all enjoyed this season as much as I did :)

My 'Graey Area' Episode!

I was a part of 'The Graey Area' Web Series which had it's premiere at the end of January!  My episode aired nearly a month later in February and I realized I totally forgot to share it here :)  They are looking to come back for Season 2 and perhaps Stacy will get to join the cast again for some more fun and excitement!

We've all been there before...you think you're dating someone, but they're actually dating someone else, and most people once they realize they are the 'other' woman, end said relationship.  Turns out, I was the other woman in this Web Series, and I had a big secret to share.  Hopefully, Grace & Stacy can become friends, and take on the world together!
You can check out the episode right here (I come in at about the six minute mark) and the rest of the episodes for 'The Graey Area' as well.  Enjoy and thanks for watching!

Kathryn Newton & Kim Rhodes at Afterbuzz TV

I got very lucky a couple of weeks ago to not only have Alaina Huffman & Lisa Berry come to Afterbuzz TV but the following week I had Kathryn Newton & Kim Rhodes join me in the studio!  Special thanks again to Ruth Connell for introducing me to these two fabulous women!

Kim Rhodes has been on the show throughout the last seven seasons as Sheriff Jody Mills.  She is definitely a fan favorite and someone my co-hosts and I throughout our years Hosting our 'Supernatural' Aftershow have always looked forward to seeing in an episode.  Kathryn Newton joined the 'Supernatural' cast three seasons ago and plays Claire Novak (daughter of Jimmy Novak, whose vessel was taken over by Castiel).  She has a huge following and we got a ton of positive feedback and shares because of her and Kim!
So happy to have Kathryn & Kim join me at Afterbuzz to talk about 'Supernatural'
The fans were so excited to join us in the live chat and hear all about 'Supernatural.'  There's even talk of a spin-off called 'Wayward Daughters' that would include Jody, Claire, and Alex (who Dean & Sam rescued a couple seasons ago from her Vampire family).  It was great to hear that all the women get together to watch the show and talk about it.  Most of them live tweet as well (Jensen & Jared do that too from time to time) and that gives the viewers a chance to get insider on what was going on in the scene, hear funny stories, and relate to the show.  Check out the episode below!
It was another awesome Aftershow with Kim & Kathryn joining me in the studio and getting to hear about their upcoming projects and shows; once again Kim is going to be playing a badass on 'Colony' and Kathryn has a new secret project she couldn't talk about but it's something she's currently filming.  Special thanks to these two rockstars who laughed, told great stories, and really love being a part of the 'Supernatural' family!  They also said they'd love to come back into the studio so hopefully we'll get them in before Season 11 finishes up in May!

Bake My Day!

Ashley and I work together at Bar Lubitsch.  I've known her for over three years and not only is she a wonderful Bartender and Friend she's an incredibly talented Host who is very well-known in the On-line Cooking Community as she's had multiple shows airing on YouTube, Snapchat, and also Verizon.  Ashley invited her other friend, Nicole (who also works at Lubitsch with us) and I to be a part of her 'Bake My Day' show presented on YouTube and sponsored by Nestle Tollhouse.

We filmed at the end of Summer for a Thanksgiving-themed episode where Ashley was baking White Chocolate Pumpkin Macadamia Nut Cookies.  We talked about 'Friendsgiving' which I've become quite familiar with out here in LA since I usually go home for Christmas, so getting back to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving was out of the question.  I certainly wish I would have gone home for it this past year...I'm sorry I couldn't surprise you like you wanted me to, Mom, but I'm really glad I was able to talk to you and tell you how thankful I was for you.  'Friendsgiving' is where your friends get together and celebrate the Holiday with some of the traditional fixings while bringing new treats into the mix as well.
It was such a fun day on-set, joking around with the girls, eating some tasty cookies, and celebrating Thanksgiving just a couple months early.  Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday because it's about being thankful, spending time with family and friends, and is one Holiday that is pretty much all about the food!  And you all know how much I love to eat :D

Check out our episode posted above and I hope that you decide to try some White Chocolate Pumpkin Macadamia Nut Cookies on your own...but don't eat all the chips like I do!

'Hard Knocks' is back!

'Hard Knocks' is back and that means I'm Hosting at Afterbuzz TV with our Football fans, Christina, Stef, and new Host, Frank this season while we talk all about the Houston Texans!  J.J. Watt, originally from Wisconsin, went to school at UW-Madison is clearly the stand-out on the team but it's exciting to see new additions and other big players continuing to make plays during the pre-season and I think under the Coaching of Bill O'Brien, it's a strong team to contend with!
Hosting at Afterbuzz TV with Christina, Stef, and Frank for Week 1 of 'Hard Knocks'
The fact that we get to talk about Football for nearly an hour already excites me but when you add that insider perspective behind the scenes at training camp, you really reel me in!  With the addition of some awesome players and a very New England heavy team, including Coaches. I believe the Texans will make it to the play-offs this season.  Their schedule this season looks good and if their wide receivers and running backs come in confident, Hoyer will make contact, and lead his offensive team well.  He's got Cecil Shorts coming from Jacksonville, DeAndre Hopkins who is currently listed as their number one receiver while Freddy Blue is listed as their number one running back.  With the plays that Chris Polk was making during last week's pre-season game, I think he'll be coming in and potentially start depending on how well Blue does.  Jaelon Strong also showed promise as a Rookie wide receiver so we'll just have to see what happens in the upcoming weeks.  J.J. is always such a leader, and there's no doubt that their defense with Vince Wilfork, Brian Cushing, and Rahim Moore, their line is going to be massive, and I'm really liking Charles James at cornerback and jumping in at running back as well.  During the show we haven't seen too much of special teams so I'll be interested in seeing who will be taking that starting position returning punts!

I was able to Lead Host during Week Two of 'Hard Knocks' so that was very exciting since we just started doing a 'Hard Knocks' show at Afterbuzz last year.  I started watching Football with my Mom at a very young age, always cheering the Packers on, and my Mom put me on the Packers Season Ticket Waiting List when I was nine years old.  I'm still waiting and it seems like it's going to be quite some time before I even see an opportunity for those tickets.  I started Cheerleading and took camps in Middle School and was on our High School and then Winona State's Cheerleading Team all throughout college.  When you're a Cheerleader, you're literally right in the action so I got used to knowing what was going on and what each of the positions had to do in order to win or lose a game.  I miss being right on the sidelines when I go and see Football games nowadays.
Week Two of 'Hard Knocks' coming to ya from Afterbuzz TV
Needless to say, I've been interested in Football ever since I was a little girl and getting to Host our 'Hard Knocks' Aftershow at Afterbuzz TV is a dream come true!  The perks of doing this show are the insights we get into the team as well as other teams.  Finding out who will be starting or playing back-up is very beneficial when I get ready to draft for my Fantasy Football Team.  I'll start doing Mock Drafts next week and figuring out where and when I can draft certain players and more than likely I'll pick up a Texan or two since I'm on the Houston train...or should I say, Wisconsinite Watt Train!

I'm looking forward to an exciting Football Season and all I can say is, Go Pack Go!  And Aaron Rodgers...you'll always be my favorite <3

'Supernatural' Finale at Afterbuzz

I can't believe how good the Finale of 'Supernatural' was this season.  Of course, the Finale of most shows don't usually disappoint; it was exciting and certainly left everyone wanting more.  Now we just have to wait until next Fall to find out what Sam & Dean will do when Darkness takes over!

In my opinion, Season 10 of 'Supernatural' had a lot more happening and developed the story more than last season when we started taping our 'Supernatural' Aftershow at Afterbuzz TV.  Unfortunately, we lost one of our original Hosts, Tom Connolly, to his job, throughout the season, so it was just Katie Campbell, Mikaela Phillips, and myself Hosting for our final episode.  The ladies and myself did a great job throughout this season, bringing in guests, having call-in's, and thanks to Tom and the Afterbuzz Crew we were able to Host and interview a bunch of the actors at Supernatural Con in Burbank which was such a wonderful experience.
Mikaela, Katie, and I after Hosting our Finale 'Supernatural' Aftershow!
This Summer I would really like to start over from the beginning of 'Supernatural' and watch from season one up to season 10.  I really got sucked into the show this past season and having our guests talk about the show and their experiences working on 'Supernatural' really draws you in even more.
You can see our Finale Aftershow for 'Supernatural' right here!

Thanks to our viewers and fans, you all have been amazing throughout this season, tweeting us, commenting on YouTube and iTunes, all of your kind words on Facebook and Instagram, and everything else!  Have a wonderful Summer and we'll see you guys in the Fall :)
See you next Fall!

'Real Housewives of New York' Special Guests at Afterbuzz TV! Part 1.

We're six episodes into our 'Real Housewives of New York' Aftershow for Afterbuzz TV and have had a guest in our studio for nearly every episode!  It's always nice to have a guest, whether they are a Housewife from the show (always the best because they can offer the most insight into what it's like being on the show) or a Housewife or celebrity from another show because we can all have our own various opinions and they can be unbiased because they aren't on the show.  Or in our most recent episode, we were lucky to have Dr. Fran Walfish, a Psychotherapist based out of Beverly Hills, California, in studio with us.
Ashley, Dr. Fran, Fern, Megan, and I at Afterbuzz TV for our 'Real Housewives of New York' Aftershow
Dr. Fran has been on our show three times now and always offers up advice and insight on what's going on behind closed doors.  She's able to dig deeper into what these women are really thinking and why they're doing the things they're doing.  We can all assume what's going on in their heads but having the background to understand their personalities is why it's so great to have Dr. Fran on our show.  We actually talked a lot about addiction in yesterday's show because Sonja (one of the NY Housewives) was very intoxicated at a party and clearly going through something more than just a drinking issue.  As Dr. Fran was talking, I actually got a little choked up because it's hard to see how someone that seems so wonderful might actually have a problem, and that they're usually in denial about getting help.  It hit a little close to home, and it's a horrible feeling to feel helpless in a situation where someone needs genuine help.
Here's our re-cap from Tuesday May 12th at Afterbuzz TV!

As with any Housewives show there's always some sort of drama going on, and seeing these women arguing about things that really don't matter can literally make watching the show uncomfortable or hard to watch.  Sometimes you feel sympathetic for what the women are going through, and other times, it's embarrassment that they're going to see this side of them forever because it'll always be out there for anyone to go and re-watch.  Of course, they're silly and fun, and that's the side of them I always enjoy seeing, unfortunately, the network and Andy Cohen want drama, and that's how the show keeps viewers, so that's the way it has to be.

It was my first time meeting Dr. Fran and she was such a joy to talk to and so incredibly sweet.  It's amazing how comfortable and open you can be with someone you've just met.  I look forward to having her on our panel again soon!

Space Beer?

Ground Control to Major Tom
Ninkasi Brewing Company came out with Ground Control Imperial Stout which was fermented with Space-Traveled Yeast.  The Company is based out of Eugene, Oregon and we actually have some of their beers on tap throughout the year at Irish Times.  How cool though, to have a beer that technically traveled to space!

In addition to releasing this limited edition beer in mid-April they also decided to start a little contest for someone who could make the best video, share it, and then win prizes.  Who better to make a Ninkasi Spec Commercial than Brad, who knows the guys from Ninkasi, and loves beer.  So on a Sunday evening a few of us shot what I think is a hilarious commercial, that transforms a night of drinking with Brad & Jeff, into a space party, where we're not quite sure if we've landed on the moon yet.

You can see our commercial right here: Ninkasi Ground Control...Space Beer?

I'm not usually a fan of dark beer but I really liked this one because it's lighter than a Guinness and has flavors of Hazelnuts and Cocoa Nibs, so it has a slight sweetness to it.  It's 10% ABV in a 22 ounce bottle for $20 at select locations.  We found them at Bev-Mo in Westwood.  But you better hurry because it's a limited edition and going fast!
Part of our Cast for our Space Beer Spec!

Matt Cohen at Afterbuzz TV

A couple weeks ago my Co-Hosts and I from Afterbuzz TV had the pleasure of having Matt Cohen join us at the Afterbuzz TV Studios to watch an episode of 'Supernatural' with us and then discuss his possible return, talk about the episode, and fill us in on his busy life and upcoming new addition!

Mikaela had interviewed Matt at Supernatural Con back in November so we were really happy to have him come to the studio and chat with us again.  He's such a sweetheart; so humble and funny, and very inspirational.  Matt is one of the most charismatic actors I have met in person here in LA!
Matt Cohen joins us at Afterbuzz TV for the 'Supernatural' Aftershow
Not only did he make us laugh but he brought me to tears talking about his wife, Mandy, who is pregnant with their first child.  He is so excited to be bringing this little one into the world it was just wonderful to hear!  Matt also talked about his new movie, "Windsor Drive" which will be released at the end of the month.  He's getting to act alongside his wife and of course, that's always exciting!  He gave us some insight on the show and both Jensen and Jared, and said they were so down to earth, as we've heard from so many of our guests.  There's a reason that 'Supernatural' has been around for 10 seasons and counting, and hard-working people like them, along with the incredible cast and crew really make the show successful.

My Co-Hosts and I, including Matt, would love to see the return of his character, young John Winchester, from 'Supernatural.'  Better yet, the fans would love to see a return of his character along with the older version of John Winchester played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan together in an episode.
You can see our Interview with Matt in the above video and check out other 'Supernatural' episodes from the past two seasons at www.youtube.com/afterbuzztv.

Interview with Misha Collins (Castiel) on 'Supernatural'

Last weekend I was at the Supernatural Convention in Burbank, California with Afterbuzz TV.  My fellow Co-Hosts, Tom Connolly, Katie Campbell, and Mikaela Phillips were all in attendance and we had the opportunity to interview some great cast members from the show 'Supernatural' that we Host an Aftershow for on Afterbuzz TV.

I got to interview Misha Collins who plays the Angel, Castiel, on the show.  He's been known as a prankster, he's directed an episode of 'Supernatural' and loves singing to his children, even when they play DJ and pick the songs.  Misha also has a restaurant recommendation if you're in the Chicago area.  You can check out the interview in the video below!
Misha was so down to earth and gave me a wonderful interview.  I was definitely a little nervous but he made me feel at ease (and I thought that was my job to make him feel comfortable).  Not to mention, he made all of us laugh with his easy-going personality and sense of humor.  It was such a treat to get to chat with him and be complimented on doing my homework ;)  Hopefully I'm making Keven, Maria, and our Afterbuzz Family proud!!

Ribbed Tee Commercial :)

The awesome Ready DEMOlition crew filmed this 'Ribbed Tee' Commercial I'm co-starring in back in August and now that it's edited and perfected it is ready to view!  It's definitely 'Sexy Time...'
We all had a fun time shooting together and what could certainly have been a very awkward situation wasn't at all.  Everyone was very professional, all about having fun and being a positive influence!  Lucky me, I got to take home a couple of the shirts and they are every bit as comfortable as the commercial markets them to be.  I would genuinely steal this from my boyfriend!

Hope you enjoy :)

'Skipping Ahead' is Now On-Line!

We filmed our Short Film 'Skipping Ahead' at the end of July before McCracken had moved back to North Carolina.  Neil put together an edit within a week (because he's awesome) and after a few tweaks (and moments of my perfectionism, who says you can't look at 20 different fonts and not like any of them...oops, that's me) we got to the final video!
There's even a little out-take at the end of the video!

I love that I got to play so many different characters throughout filming.  I had so many emotions and the script really gave me a chance to play all these levels and show some range.  I really loved the finished product and hopefully you enjoyed the short film that we all worked so hard on :)
