So before I get into this entry, yes, I am devastated by the Packers Play-Off loss yesterday. They had an amazing season, and unfortunately, just didn't play the way they did during the regular season. They're defending Superbowl Champs for the next three weeks and had an awesome year, I'm just bummed it ended before we got a chance to win back-to-back Superbowls.
There was a light at the end of the tunnel yesterday though, and that was the fact I had another Video Submission Audition to send in. Neil helped me out with the recording again, and ended up with a few outtakes in our 5 filmed clips. I think my camera-man got his jolly's out of distracting me.
After pulling myself together, I got a great video out of it and sent it in that night! And sides are a lot easier to memorize when you didn't have a Bloody Mary for breakfast :p
This morning I got a phone call from Ilf Media (the company I have been sending these video submissions to for almost the past year) and I booked a job! I'll be traveling to Spokane, Washington next week to shoot with them. It's my first job in 2012 and a huge opportunity for me, as this spot will be airing Nation-Wide! Persistence and patience certainly pays off as I've been waiting to shoot with this company for almost a year and finally I get a break!
